These guys are "spooked" because they know what's coming.  Meanwhile, Ma and Pa MAGA are rumbling around in their gas-guzzling jumbo trucks, investing in bitcoin and Drumpf NFT's, and spending like drunken sailors on shore leave, believing with every fiber of their miserable beings that their lord and savior Donald Drumpf and his magic tariffs economy will protect them and their blue-state tax largess from harm.

Prisoner #1 in a New Alcatraz Should Be Trump Himself

Another hare-brained, performative distraction announcement from dear leader.  Fresh off the heels of insulting the 1.4 billion Catholics in the world by mocking the Pope only days after Pope Francis died, this latest idiocy of DonOld's is a doozy.

Let's get real here.  There are a shitload of valid reasons that Alcatraz prison was closed down over 60 years ago and transformed into a museum and tourist attraction, and they all have to do with logistics and wastefully spending a whole lot of taxpayer money.

There are already more than 50 state and federal 'supermax' level correctional facilities in this country, so it begs the question as to why the orange buffoon chose Alcatraz as the site for a new 'supermax' prison?  Did the demented old mobster watch a TV show or movie about Alcatraz recently which triggered his feeble brain to come up with this cartoonish plan?

Can we say, "taxpayer boondoggle?"  Say it loud.  Say it clear.  Because that is literally what it would be for them to try and resurrect the crumbling, outdated, outmoded, hoary old edifice of Alcatraz and make it a correctional facility worthy of the modern 'supermax' designation.  It would cost hundreds of millions and we all know that after they blow the public's money on it, with a lot of 'kickbacks' going on to DonOld and friends no doubt, the place would become obsolete again the minute Mango Mussolini croaked or left office.

Let's face reality here.  Drumpf is essentially issuing this painfully dumb, preposterous order to distract from the looming economic chaos and deep misery that will be caused by his very own ill-advised, disastrous trade war against half the world, a trade war that he started. He knows what damage he has caused.  He knows that the consequences of that damage are imminent.  Stupid announcements like this are just red meat that he is throwing to the credulous rubes who continue to support and enable him, to keep them riled up before the economic hurt hammer falls upon on their own stupid heads.

Ffs, though - are there truly no humans of courage remaining anywhere in the ranks of the Republican party that will at long last stand up to this crackbrained POTUS and just tell him NO! for once?

The New York Times is finally catching on to the reality that Drumpf and his crime family never wanted anything more out of the US Presidency other than to be allowed to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people and it's democracy.

The Drumpf crime family was in financial bed with authoritarian regimes like Russia and Saudi Arabia long before DonOld got the vapors for wanting to be POTUS.

And now that he is POTUS, again, he is maximizing his efforts to haul in as much dirty cash from his multinational billionaire friends and wealthy despots while he can.

These MAGA lunatics are swimming in their own toxic stew creation of lunacy and rank stupidity.  They truly are the evil cartoon government that even Mike Judge, the creator of the movie 'Idiocracy,' could not have conjured up in his lively imagination.

The damage these fraudsters like RFK Jr. and Pete Hegseth and Pam Bondi are doing to our nation's institutions and the mistrust they are engendering in the populace toward government will take at least a generation to repair.

There is a way to fix this, however.  Take away the governing power of the Republican party in the next mid-term election.  Take away their ability to do even more damage by NOT casting a vote for even one single Republican candidate.  NOT ONE!  Kick these crazy bastards to the curb.
