Jackboot DOGE Regulators Aim Their Crosshairs at Social Security

And just like that Ma and Pa, and also Grandma and Grandpa MAGA, is how you eventually end up losing your Social Security and Medicare coverage.

Lots of luck with that for Americans who are presently dependent upon either of those programs for basic human subsistence, as well as for those headed toward retirement who were looking forward to their contributions from a lifetime of honest, hard work into the US Social Security system being a significant supplement to their retirement savings, if they were the type lucky enough to have such savings.  For many others, SS and Medicare are bedrock, life-sustaining programs.

Drumpf is allowing a Bond villain billionaire and his posse of prepubescent cyber trolls access to the personal financial and social security history of every single American.  The US government has the largest database of detailed financial information on any American who has ever filed taxes or collected social security and other government benefits, including every small business loan ever granted or federal contract ever issued.  Imagine what an unscrupulous, self-dealing, compromised billionaire could do with such a massive financial data haul?

"DOGE," is NOT a Congressionally-approved, government agency.  It is nothing more than a self-appointed panel of Elmo MuskRat and his fanboy hacker clan and they are accountable to no elected representatives at all, and there is zero non-partisan oversight of them.

The simple reality is that Drumpf did not tap MuskRat to strengthen and improve the delivery of Social Security, or Medicare, or VA access.  It's the exact opposite.  Musky's job is to help destroy those earned benefit programs.  Just as Drumpf told his Secretary of Education nominee Linda McMahon that he hired her for the express purpose of helping to destroy the US public education system.

MuskRat letting his cyber-trolls loose in the Social Security administration should be a very bad omen for every American who, if not now, at some point will be relying on Social Security and Medicare to be there for them in their lifetime.

"Hard to keep track of precisely what’s happening at these different agencies. But we just got through the headlines about DOGE demanding access to literally everybody’s and every companies’ tax returns at the IRS. It seems like they now have that access, though we don’t know that for certain. (We’re basically entirely dependent on leaks since DOGE works entirely in secret.) Now news just broke that the DOGErs appear to have busted their way into the Social Security Administration, forcing the resignation of the acting commissioner, Michelle King, when she resisted their demands to give DOGE access to the agency’s most sensitive government records.

According to the Post, the DOGErs or, nominally, President Trump had to pass over “dozens of other senior executives who sat higher on the agency’s leadership hierarchy” until they found a guy named Leland Dudek who had apparently been talking up DOGE on social media and thus seemed up for playing ball.

DOGE’s apparent entry into the Social Security Administration comes after Elon Musk repeatedly and falsely claimed that a substantial amount of the $1.6 trillion Social Security pays out every year goes to fraud or dead people."

Musk is lying about Social Security paying out trillions to dead people.  Drumpf is parroting those lies publicly and using them as validation for allowing Musk unrestricted access to your private financial data.  It can not be explained any simpler than that.

It stands to reason that if they will take their lies to this extent in order to justify MuskRat's access to this financial data, that data must be pretty damn valuable.

Here's a simple rule to remember when it comes to these two guys and your money.  If you wouldn't trust leaving your 12-year old daughter in the personal, private custody of Drumpf or Musk for a weekend, then don't trust them having access to your personal financial data.
