Elmo's "War" on Grandpa and Grandma and the Poor

The Gadfly can't wait to see the faces of the Ma and Pa MAGAs who subsist on Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid seeing their benefits slashed when the world's wealthiest individual implements his 'Project 2025' inspired "Government Efficiency" agenda.  That is going to be a sight to see.

"Interesting thread," Musk, the world's richest man, wrote late Monday in response to the posts by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who once said he hopes to pull Social Security "up by the roots and get rid of it," along with Medicare and Medicaid.

In his new thread, Lee characterized Social Security—which lifts more Americans above the poverty line than any other federal program—as a "tax plan" insidiously disguised as a retirement plan and condemned the Social Security Act of 1935 as one of many "deceptive sales techniques the U.S. government has used on the American people."

 

George Carlin was right when he talked about how the oligarchs are coming for our Social Security and our Medicare and that they would get every penny of it because it's they and not we the people who truly own this country and everything in it, including serfs like us.
