The Gadfly is experiencing some measure of muddled difficulty in trying to determine exactly what was the most disturbing revelation in the Stormy Daniel's, otherwise admittedly, blase' interview on 60 Minutes.
The alleged threat from a strange man to Daniel's physical person while referencing her infant child is vintage Michael Cohen, Trump's private attorney. Something like that would be expected from Cohen, who was likely just letting his hoary old Roy Cohn freak flag fly.
And once again -- what the fuck is up with Drumpf and the sharks? He had a beautiful, sexy porn star alone in his hotel room and he made her watch several hours of a documentary about shark attacks before he made the move for sex on her?? The Gadfly truly would like to know what kind of traumatic fishing or deep sea diving event occurred in the young life of Donald Trump which precipitated such a bizarrely mind-numbing obsession with and fear of sharks.
But as weird as the shark thing is though, by leaps and bounds, the creepiest part of that interview was where Daniels echoed the claim of Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal, claiming that Drumpf, in the context of hitting on a potential sexual conquest - meaning Stormy herself - said that she reminded him of his daughter Ivanka. The Gadfly has to tell you dear readers -- it kind of makes The Gadfly shudder, in a very uncomfortable way, at the mere thought of some very Chinatown, Daddy Dearest shit and some blackmail going on in that family.
The whole sordid story is kind of depressing actually, in a wretched, tawdry soap opera kind of way.
But this bullshit involves the president of The United States of America. And that makes it newsworthy, and quite possibly historical. It is something that the American public needs to confront and analyze and then come to a national consensus determination as to whether the quality of the character of someone like Donald Trump is now the new, acceptable normal for this nation's future leaders going forward.
God help us fucking all if it is.
