Bill Kristol is not shy about his fetish for war. His latest piece at the neoconservative Weekly Standard borders on self-parody in the way that it openly longs for a return to a time when Americans were eager to send the U.S. military off on unnecessary, imperialistic adventures.

Kristol is frustrated by the “war-weariness” of the nation. He laments the reluctance on the part of the Republican Party to “challenge” “the idol of war-weariness.”
“A war-weary public can be awakened and rallied,” Kristol cheers. “Indeed, events are right now doing the awakening. All that’s needed is the rallying. And the turnaround can be fast.”

The Gadfly has a proposition for the Neo-cons like Kristol who want America embroiled in perpetual war.

The Gadfly will gladly support the wars you pine for - ONLY! -- only if you yourself, your of age children and grandchildren, along with all of the other silver spoon heirs who populate your family tree, are the first warriors drop-shipped in to front line battle once the hostilities commence.

Show The Gadfly that you, the war lovers, have some fucking skin in the game, and maybe we cam arrive at a fair compromise.

And if you're not agreeable to such an arrangement, then The Gadfly would kindly request that you just shut the fuck up and crawl back under the rocks whence you slithered to regale us all of the majestic glory associated with sending other people's children off to kill and die in conflicts which you yourselves are too fucking cowardly to participate in.
