“The liar's punishment is, not in the least that he is not believed, but that he cannot believe anyone else.” ~~~~ George Bernard Shaw

There's hope yet . . .

Some regular American folks are beginning to question the bullshit and lies being fed to them by some of their conservative elected officials.  This is good for Democracy.  It is vital for Democracy.

Watch a Florida Republican squirm when his Townhall meeting doesn't go quite as he planned it -- meaning his constituents refused to just blindly buy in to his bullshit pertaining to the healthcare situation in the country.  The Gadfly is warmed by seeing some of his fellow citizens speaking out.  Let's hope it inspires others to get involved and start publicly voicing their views as these good folk have.

Anyhow -- watch:

[h/t to]

The Gadfly hopes more of you dear readers will exercise your constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech, the right to assemble and the right to petition your government.  You and your children, grandchildren, family and friends all deserve a government that is of the people, by the people, for the people and shall not perish from the Earth.

“Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bullshit, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute - I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you”
