Somebody once told The Gadfly that his blogging efforts were useless.

The Gadfly acknowledges that he is not Drudge, or Andrew Sullivan, or Eschaton or Huffington Post .... and The Gadfly truly does not give a shit.  The Gadfly does what he does for two reasons.  First -- anger.  Anger that we still have to put up with the fucking backwoods, white assholes of the Martin Luther King era who truly should be just fossilized at this point ... and that would be good for America.  Second .. because The Gadfly is afraid of not speaking up ... The Gadfly fears that if he doesn't open his big piehole, he could eventually be writing stuff like this:

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

The Gadfly doesn't want "them" coming for his self or his children or grand children.  Nationalism, corporatism, militarism,  .. Dwight Eisenhower warned us about "them" .....
