Hmmmmm - I do believe I detect a whiff of putrid hypocrisy in the air.
Imagine that - Ron Paul, who by all accounts has been duly anointed by his pinhead followers as King Octavius Rex Libertarius, has been quietly cashing in his monthly SS checks! I mean get this - this is the guy, who blathers ad nauseam that Social Security is unconstitutional, and routinely chastises the poor and unemployed and exhorts them to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and he is contently pocketing the SS check he gets, and has been getting for some time, from the bad ol' 'gubmint every month.
I think this has to be the funniest fucking thing I have see all week.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) may rail against Social Security insolvency in the public eye, but that hasn't stopped him from accepting the government checks.
The libertarian-leaning Republican and former presidential candidate admitted Wednesday that he accepts Social Security checks just minutes after he called for younger generations to wean themselves off the program, in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
Ya' gotta love it. It's the same with the old, fat-assed teabaggers sitting in their government subsidized motorized scooters at Tea Party rallys holding and waving signs that say - "Obama - Keep Your Hands Off My Medicare!" It truly is cognitive dissonance in it's purest form.
