It's a sobering sign of our times when federal judges are setting off alarm bells about the increasing illegitimacy of Donald Trump's lawless version of 'ICE':

"The chief federal
judge in Minnesota excoriated Immigration and Customs Enforcement on
Wednesday, saying it had violated nearly 100 court orders stemming from
its aggressive crackdown in the state and had disobeyed more judicial
directives in January alone than “some federal agencies have violated in
their entire existence.”
The extraordinary broadside by the judge, Patrick J. Schiltz, came in a ruling in which he temporarily rescinded an order he had issued on Tuesday,
summoning Todd Lyons, the acting director of ICE, to appear in front of
him to explain why he should not be held in contempt for violating so
many orders arising from the Trump administration’s hard-line
immigration actions in Minnesota.
While
Judge Schiltz, a conservative jurist appointed by President George W.
Bush, let Mr. Lyons off the hook for the moment, he cautioned that he
might change his mind and order him to appear again to answer questions
if ICE continues to violate court orders.
“ICE
is not a law unto itself,” the judge wrote. “ICE has every right to
challenge the orders of this court, but, like any litigant, ICE must
follow those orders unless and until they are overturned or vacated.”"

Well, judge, it sure does seem that they are when the President of the United States along with his corrupted DOJ promises ICE agents immunity for any crimes they commit, and gives them carte blanche permission to ignore court orders with no legal repercussions.
Americans who truly care about the future of democracy had better
start waking up and acknowledge the danger that faces ALL OF US when a
criminally insane, suspected child rapist POTUS is instructing a private army of armed and masked thugs that they
have immunity for any crimes they commit under color of authority, and
that its okay for them to ignore lawful federal court orders.
ICE needs to be defunded and shut down. DHS needs to be dismantled if at all possible, purged of MAGA influence at minimum.
Accountability must be visited upon Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Tom Homan and Tricia McLaughlin for their malfeasance in office.
We start this accountability process by showing up to vote in ALL elections and voting in mass numbers to take away power from the most corrupt and un-American political party in this nation's history - The Republican party. We must recognize MAGA for the fascist/ anti-American movement that it is and vote all of their adherents out of office.
Crushing this pedophile-coddling movement that is protecting Drumpf and other elitist scum of his child raping ilk is a major step toward setting things right in this country after a decade of Orange Caligula's madness.
