Trumpoleon Bonaparte's Waterloo Draws Ever Nearer . . .

The writing is on the wall you Trump supporters.  Your collective, childish tantrum in the voting booth this past November has produced precisely the results that The Gadfly, and many others who are much smarter than The Gadfly, wearily predicted.

And the hits just keep coming for Drumpf . . . .

Top lawyers with at least four major law firms rebuffed White House overtures to represent President Trump in the Russia investigations, in part over concerns that the president would be unwilling to listen to their advice, according to five sources familiar with discussions about the matter.
The unwillingness of some of the country’s most prestigious attorneys and their law firms to represent Trump has complicated the administration’s efforts to mount a coherent defense strategy to deal with probes being conducted by four congressional committees as well as Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller.
[…]
“The concerns were, ‘The guy won’t pay and he won’t listen,’” said one lawyer close to the White House who is familiar with some of the discussions between the firms and the administration, as well as deliberations within the firms themselves.

The two primary concerns cited by these top-flight law firms as justification for turning down Drumpf's requests to represent him?  "The guy won't pay and he won't listen."

The "won't pay" claim stems from Drumpf's long, well documented history of stiffing people and businesses who have provided work and services for him and even going to the extent of taunting the people he has defrauded by daring them to take he and his high-priced shark lawyers on in court.

The second reason is just as trenchant --- "he won't listen."  To those of us who did our pre-election homework reading up on Drumpf's prolific public background and observing his behavior through the years as it relates to how he has dealt with other human beings in both personal and business matters, the observation that he "won't listen" is even less remarkable than his proclivity for reneging on business deals.  Donald Trump is the only person Donald Trump listens to - period.  He has publicly stated on many occasion that he is a superior human specimen and intellect compared to most everyone around him and that he knows more about the jobs of people that he has hired to perform than those subject matter experts themselves know.  So why on earth would he need to listen to anyone else's views and opinions?

And today comes news that for Thursday's James Comey hearings on capitol hill, Drumpf, instead of laying low and allowing his attorneys and spokespeople to do their jobs, intends to live tweet his views of the proceedings -- entirely oblivious to the idea, or perhaps just insanely arrogant, that his tweets can very well be used against him in any possible future court actions or impeachment proceedings.  What could possibly go wrong with that huh?

Drumpf has bragged incessantly -- repeatedly -- on video tape -- that he is the product of a superior human gene pool:

The Gadfly cannot wait to see how those high-caliber, German genes will rescue him from the looming impeachment and possible prison perp walk that he has foolishly invited upon his superior self.
