When Drumpf, upon return from his European Vacation, directed his capos to ready a "war room" to counter the tsunami of "fake news" about his and his lackey's Russian skullduggery, who knew they would go so far as to actually coordinate media messaging with their overseer Putin.
Observe -- early yesterday morning Drumpf tweeted this @ 4:04 AM EDT:

Later in the same day Putin gives an interview to a French newspaper and surprise, surprise ....

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin says the allegations of Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election are “fiction” invented by the Democrats in order to explain their loss.
In an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro, Putin reaffirmed his strong denial of Russian involvement in the hacking of Democratic emails. The interview was recorded during Putin’s Monday trip to Paris and released Tuesday.
He said the claims of Russian meddling are driven by the “desire of those who lost the U.S. elections to improve their standing by accusing Russia of interfering.”
Putin added that the “people who lost the vote hate to acknowledge that they indeed lost because the person who won was closer to the people and had a better understanding of what people wanted.”

Apparently they already have comrade Jared's super-secret, encrypted, back-channel line of communication directly to the Kremlin operational.
The Gadfly supposes that it is quite possible that this is just another one of those uncanny coincidences masquerading as yet another glaring chunk of evidence that the Drumpf/Russian relationship is more than just virginal neighborliness. And if you believe that then The Gadfly also supposes that you would believe that the planet is flat and that a wizardly, companionless, bearded old hermit floating around in cosmic space created it in 6 days around 6000 years ago.
The Gadfly can only offer up conjecture as to how this whole repugnant episode with Drumpf and the Russians is going to conclude, but if The Gadfly's guess is right, that conclusion will automatically necessitate the shining of a bright, white hot spotlight on Drumpf's enablers and supporters, and for their sake there had better be some believably sincere fucking groveling and demonstrations of remorse forthcoming.
