Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) warned that there's "no such thing as free lunch" for school children in Georgia, but he seems to have enjoyed a few.

An investigation by Georgia's WSAV channel 3 found that Kingston, who is currently running for Senate and recently suggested students work cleaning cafeterias in exchange for lunch, had expensed as much as $4,182 worth of lunches for his office over the past three years.

"Kingston and his staff expensed nearly $4200 in meals for business purposes to his congressional office, paid for by the American taxpayer," WSAV 3's Dan Kartunen reported. The amount could have purchased nearly 2,000 Georgia school lunches.

WSAV also found that Kingston also racked up $4,289 of free meals paid for by third-party groups like the Georgia Bankers Association and the Congressional Institute.

Yeah - the one who snidely advocated for having the poorest kids perform janitorial work to pay for their free school lunches while prickishly waving his finger and warning that there's "no such thing as a free lunch?"

It appears that Congressturd Kingston's very serious "no free lunch" rule doesn't apply to himself -- only to kids from economically disadvantaged families.

Listen dear readers -- The Gadfly knows full well that all of the Congress critters get perks like this.  That is not what The Gadfly is mocking here.  The Gadfly is mocking this hypocrite and asshole Jack Kingston who has the bloody fucking gall to publicly whine about poor kids in his district getting a shitty little, free school cafeteria meal once a day, all the while he and his lackeys are sucking mightily off of the taxpayer tit and receiving, undeniably, a better quality of food, and not paying a penny for it.

So - a hearty Fuck You to Jack Kingston.  Hopefully there are enough decent minded voters in his district who will be sufficiently disgusted by this cretin's actions to throw his ass out of office next election.  However, being it's a deep south, heavily leaning GOP district though, The Gadfly isn't holding his breath for such an outcome.
